Chinese Dumpling 水饺 – 饺子
I am not a big fan of the 水饺. But I do order it when we eat Leong Dao Fu in KL. Saw a recipe and try to work on it. It’s just simple.
Ingredient A
- ½ lb pork
- ½ cup mix slice vegetable (carrot / cabbage)
- 1-½ table spoon rice wine (I put Chiva’s!!)
- pepper
- 5 drop sesame oil
Ingredient B (to make the skin)
- 1 cup multipurpose flour
- ½ cup water
Step 1 : Mix Ingredient A and blend it to 80% crash and keep in the fridge
Step 2 : Mix the multipurpose flour and water for 20 minute
Step 3 : Roll it into 1 inch diameter rod
Step 4 : Cut the rod into ¼ inch slices
Step 5 : flatten it into 3 inch diameter
Step 6 : Put 1 teaspoon Ingredient A in the skin and wrap it. Press on the side and seal it.
Step 7 : Boil with water or fried it
Ready !
p/s: Its nice to serve with black vinegar and ginger slices!
